University of London hosts Breaking into Management, a professional development for event for alumni in Singapore.

The University of London returned to Singapore on 31 October 2018 to continue the biannual series of professional development events held in cooperation with University of London Alumni Singapore. Breaking into Management welcomed alumni for an evening focusing on achievable ways to succeed in early management roles.

The evening's speaker and moderator, Ilana Rosenzweig, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), shared her career path, including anecdotes from her first management role where she took on a team of 90.

Attendees were then divided into six groups to work through case studies on management, and were given the opportunity to share ideas and suggestions on how to succeed in new and more challenging roles, with Ilana providing feedback. Guests then enjoyed informal networking with fellow alumni and University of London staff over canapés.

The University looks forward to returning to Singapore in April 2019 to host events for our alumni, friends and supporters. If you are a University of London graduate, please register or update your contact details to ensure that you receive an invitation.
